Takshila school students conducted a Road Safety Awareness Campaign in the Ahmednagar city today, 11th August 2015. Students visited Superintendent of Police office, Regional Transport office, Ahmednagar College, Zilha Parishad office, ST Bus stand and 8 prominent traffic points like DSP chowk, Patrakar Chowk, Premdan Chowk, Swastik chowk, Market yard chowk, etc.
Dr. Saurabh Tripathi (Superintendent of Police, Ahmednagar District), Mr. Gite (Regional Transport Officer, Ahmednagar City), Dr. Rajneesh Barnabas (Principal, Ahmednagar College), Mr. Kadus (Primary Education officer, Ahmednagar District ) and Mrs. Patil (Deputy CEO, ZP Ahmednagar District) was present there to motivate the students for the good work.
Students distributed road safety leaflets, stickers and given rosebuds and chocolates to traffic rule followers at all mentioned locations.
